Randal is an academic researcher who is currently developing state-of-the-art machine learning biomedical at the University of Pennsylvania. He is passionate about training the next generation of data scientists to be more efficient, effective, and collaborative in their work. He is also community leader for DataIsBeautiful on Reddit.
Wesley, a bona fide genius, focuses on intelligent interaction, data visualization and finding ways to clear the clutter around us. He’s also founder of data visualisation studio Pitch Interactive and co-organiser of @eyeofestival.
Kim Rees is co-founder and CEO of Periscopic, a socially responsible data visualisation firm whose mantra is “do good with data”.
Jer Thorp is a software artist, writer, and educator living in Brooklyn. He is a co-founder of The Office for Creative Research & adjunct professor at New York University's ITP program.
Enrico Bertini is Assistant Professor at the NYU Polytechnic School of Engineering. His research, teaching, and writing is all about how to make sense of data. He is the co-host of Data Stories, the data visualisation podcast with our judge Moritz Stefaner.
