The election of November, 2018 ushered in the new 116th Congress of the United States of America. This visualization attempts to answer the question, “How diverse is the 116th Congress?” It does this by looking at a variety of characteristics including race, gender, religion, and orientation for all members of the Senate and the House of Representatives.
