Hopelab x Koko Microsite by Amina Brown

In partnership with Hopelab, the Koko team turned to Data Culture to showcase the proven benefits of their enhanced crisis response tool. Using both CDC data, and results from Koko’s peer-reviewed studies, the microsite explores a world both with and without the tool.

The complex nature of Koko’s tool has meant that it’s impact has long been underestimated and the study results have been siloed in academic journals. Hopelab and Koko saw data visualization as a tool to overcome these hurdles. Data Culture worked with team to build a microsite that highlights the importance of mental health resources and to showcase how Koko works and differs from other options. Additionally, the site communicates the key takeaways from peer-reviewed studies and the qualitative impact it’s had for users.
