Between 1992 and 2009, 677 restaurant outbreaks of food poisoning were reported in England and Wales, affecting around 11,800 people. The interactive visualization allows users to explore the most dangerous cuisines and food types as well as which food is safe to eat in which restaurant. 

The reasons for the outbreaks are displayed for all of the cases and can be filtered down to individual cuisines. This is accompanied by the most common types of pathogens causing the infections.
