78 Travels by Nina Koch

This is a vizualisation of all the travels of my life so far. I created it as my final project for the "Effective Data Visualization: Transform Information into Art" class on Domestika from Sonja Kuijpers. At first I wanted to focus on the ways I travelled and emission and climate and those things. In the process I realized, that I found it way more interesting to focus on a biographical view. – So in the end the project was way more personal than I expected it to be. It basically shows my biography now. Moving out from home, starting to study, getting kids etc. and the people that joined me on the way.
