Around the Mind in 15 Minutes by Self

During the pandemic and while working from home alone, I felt it was important to proactively set aside time for free thinking, away from deadlines and tasks. This graphic depicts one 15 minute period of free thought, which branched out from a random thought of 'someone says my phone speaker sounds like I'm talking underwater' (center black shape) and triggered a flow of completely unrelated personal memories which spiral out from the center, counter-clockwise. The caboose of this particular train of thought ends with 'vintage cookie press,' while colored shapes are the short journeys of the train taking a diversion. The images relate to some of the memories that emerged during the exercise.
