Modern Art Movements by stefan pullen

The proposed piece for the IIB Awards is an interactive timeline of Modern Art Movements. This project was created as a proof of concept to demonstrate a timeline at an exhibition or museum can be used as a tool to captivate the audience's attention and prime curiosity.

The "Art Movements Timeline" addresses the common issue of visitors overlooking contextual information by providing an innovative solution that captures their attention and encourages deeper engagement. The timeline comes to life with vibrant visuals and fluid motion in order to surprise and intrigue the audience, drawing them into the exhibition.

The design of the timeline is intentionally minimalistic and monochrome, ensuring that the animation takes center stage while remaining inclusive and accessible to a diverse audience.

I consider this piece to be thought-provoking as it challenges the notion that engagement and aesthetics can at times hold greater significance than comprehensive information understanding of the data.
