Threads of Comfort by University of the Arts London

In this project, I try to capture the small everyday choices that bring the feeling of comfort & familiarity. Leveraging the metaphor of sewing, the tactile nature of a cushion & it’s associated affect, I explore ways of surfacing the varied but similar notions of human comfort.

This project consisted of two parts: a live interactive canvas where the audience could enter information and generate their unique data art patterns and personalised fabricated cushion covers from these patterns.
