Keep it underground by Jorge Martinez Rey

At the heart of climate change lies the increasing amount of fossil fuel emissions and the consequent increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide concentrations. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution, around 1850, there has been a steady increase.
However it is expected at the current pace of fossil fuel emissions that atmospheric carbon dioxide will increase sharply up to year 2100. Projections of concentration and emissions displayed in this data visualization project are based on the worst case yet real IPCC RCP8.5 scenario.
