In 2017, I published my “2017 Resume Data Visualization”, a project that visualized the many data points of my then traditional resume. In hindsight, the project didn't succeed as I would have liked because of a glaring mistake: the focus was on the resume—as a resume is a deliverable. This 2021 project took a different approach to visualize not my resume, but my career as a professional designer. With a new focus, I would be better able to capture and convey a journey of hard-won professional growth and, importantly, illustrate how it all tied back to my vision endeavors.
