How men became more right-wing than women in Sweden by birmingham city university

This story aims to show and tell a visual story of the widening gap between men and women in Sweden in their political preferences and identification as left- and right-wing.

I wrote this article ahead of the elections in Sweden (September 11th). According to the polls, if only men or women were to vote, the right- or light-wing coalition respectively would win.

I wanted to highlight this difference and visualise the history of how it got here as men used to be more left-wing than women until the 1970s.
