Regional Folk Music of Mexico by Tiffany France

Regional Folk Music of Mexico was project created while attending The New School for MS in Data Visualization (20/21). This work leveraged the Smithsonian Institution's stack of regional Mexican music. The project uses hand-built scrollytelling to navigate the Mexico map. Each genre of music is shown on the map with samples of the music from the area for the purposes of providing a user a tour of music through time, sound, and location.
