Carbon Monitor by Wedodata

Faced with the health crisis of 2020, most countries have chosen to confine themselves, putting a sudden halt to most of their economic activities. What was the impact on the climate? Through the Carbon Monitor seeks to measure, an attempt by a consortium of climate researchers to measure CO2 emissions in near real time and compare them to the previous year.
For each country, the rates of change in carbon dioxide emissions for the current period compared to the previous year are calculated, broken down by sector. When passing through the histograms, the rate of evolution of each sector is revealed.
Carbon Monitor data are made freely available to the public and the scientific community in the belief that their wide dissemination will lead to greater understanding and new scientific insights.
