The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Visualized by Adam Korengold

Baseball–the “national pastime” in the United States–has been almost exclusively a male sport. However, between 1943 and 1954 – beginning during World War II and continuing for twelve seasons – the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League fielded between four and ten teams of women that took the place of male professional baseball players who had been called to the war. This Tableau Public workbook, “The All-American Girls Professional Baseball League Visualized”, is both a visual repository of the twelve years of AAGPBL statistics and an interactive tool for experiencing the data as one has not been able to previously.
