Napoleon’s defeat and Lewis’ continuing fight: marching from Selma to Montgomery by University of Oxford

During the time when I was learning about Minard's famous visualisation of Napoleon's battle gains and losses, I was also increasingly interested in battles for civil rights in the United States. Therefore, I decided to combine both and visualise congressman John Lewis' Alabama marches to commemorate one year since his death. I made sure that this story, though a more optimistic one in general than Minard's, still emphasised the importance of continuing work towards racial equity.
