Introducing The "Change Plot” by Alex Katona

This plot is similar to a scatterplot, which is used to understand the relationship between two continuous measures. However, a change plot represents the current values on the x-axis and the percentage change of those values compared to previous values, such as the last month or last year, on the y-axis. This helps to solve the problem of representing percentage change and current values for a high number of categories at the same time. Comparable to the subtle differences between a bar chart and a histogram, changing how the axes are calculated allows you to understand your data in a different way. See more details about the change plot on my blog: https://alexkatona.blogspot.com/2019/08/introducing-change-plot.html
