The Tunguska event: A blast from the past’ is a special TASS project that takes an in-depth look at a large mysterious explosion that occurred on the morning of June 30, 1908. TASS reconstructed the Tunguska phenomenon using 360-degree illustrations, which show the moment a fireball came crashing down, leaving the surrounding Siberian forest flattened. Never before has this event been presented from this point of view. In addition, the story walks the reader through the inquiries and expeditions over the last 110 years that have been conducted at the Tunguska ‘meteorite’ crash site.
