This visualization explores cocktail drinking habits during a cruise vacation of more than three hundred thousand people from all over the world. Cocktails have been served by a robotic mixologist named Makr Shakr. The cocktails are designed by analyzing the composition of cocktails, tastes, alcohol consumption patterns by country, age, sex and time, and comparing the results during vacation time with annual statistical data. The project highlights today’s excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages and the differences between Western and Eastern countries. There is therefore a good statistical basis for extending the visualization's results to the global population.
