What you will need to provide:

A high resolution image representing the work you're entering

This image will be used as a thumbnail image to represent your project / story. Please select an image that can accurately represent your work and ensure you upload at least one image as a .jpg or .png, at least 1000px width. Up to four additional images can be uploaded to be forwarded to the judges, but only the first one will be used as a thumbnail and feature image in the showcase.

A web link that will stay live until the end of December, 2023

If you are submitting a web-based work, please upload a silent video screen capture of the piece in action

If your work has a paywall, please provide a link that can be accessed without a subscription so that judges can view your work. If the link is inaccessible, the work may be deemed ineligible.

Select a category for your work (our team may reallocate categories where recommended by the judging panel). You may select up to 2 categories in which your work will be considered, but will only be eligible to win in one.

Name credits for the work / organization

The "Additional creators/team members" field will be displayed on your entry's showcase page as "Credits". Please provide the names and roles of all individuals involved in creating the work in this field upon submission.

A description of the work (200 - 500 words)

This description will appear publicly as the copy beneath your entry's page in the showcase. This means it should not include any sensitive information, such as passwords or instructions specifically for judges.

Students and members of the public whose work has not been commissioned or published professionally may submit their work for free. Agencies, newsrooms, and organizations have a stepped fee structure based on size and the nature of the organization; small companies in low and middle income countries (based on the World Bank classifications for 2023) are eligible for significantly reduced fees.
