There are not many sports that are as dependent on weather as kitesurfing. Windspeed, windgusts, winddirection, rain and temperature are all essential to the sport. I have visualized these weather elements at my local kitesurfing spot "Wijk aan Zee" in The Netherlands.

The radial bars, lines and bubble charts represent the different elements and are shown for the 365 days of 2021. I have used national weather institute data, made the graphs in Tableau and put everything together in Adobe illustrator.
