Charting the Rolling Stones

The Spanish graphic designer Ana Gomez Bernaus recently created a beautiful and eye-candy-esque infographic about the Rolling Stones’ lovely tune “She’s a Rainbow”

This graphic visually explores how music flows from note to note, and how combinations and repetitions of tone create beautiful patterns as mesmerizing as music itself.

Each note of the scale has an assigned color. Octaves are represented by shifts in  brightness. Each whole circle represents an eighth note beat, moving from left to right, just as in standard notation. The concentric rings reveal what notes each instrument is playing on a given beat.
